I’ve been getting Bladder Infections for about a month now. I drink cranberry juice and now take an extract I bought at the supermarket but I was wondering if you have something available.

I would much rather take your products if they are available then those found locally. The infection seems to clear up for awhile and then comes back again when I no longer drink the juice. Is there something else I should be doing? Thanks for your help! BTW: your newsletters are wonderful.

Joanna will answer this question. But, I would like to add something further. See if you can get some D-Mannose. This is the best product you can get for Bladder Infections - better than cranberry juice.

Cranberry juice can help Bladder Infections by producing hippuric acid in the urine, to acidify and help inhibit bacteria growth.

Our Omega 3 / DHAs would be helpful as they have anti-inflammatory actions, and so will help to soothe the lining of the bladder. Total Balance would also be useful as it contains essential daily nutrients for balance and for anti-inflammatory action: folic acid, lipase, papain, betaine HCl, isolase, vitamin A, C,D, B complex, Aloe Vera polysaccharides, Myrrh, Ginger, Green Tea, mahonia grape and Turmeric; plus more specifically mahonia grape, bilberry, Turmeric, L-arginine, MSM and bioflavonoids.

I would advise Omega 3 / DHAs at 4 per day optimum, 2 per day maintenance during less prone times; Total Balance at 6 per day.

It could also be helpful to add Dandelion tea to this regime as it can help cleanse; plus fresh blueberries and Cranberries in the diet can have the same effect as drinking cranberry juice. Buchu is also a good extract if you are experiencing any burning sensations upon urination.

Finally a good calcium product (such as our Bone-Protec) will help to normalise pH levels.

Ensure your diet is good and free from processed or sugary foods, and if possible include more pure foods such as Celery, Parsley, watermelon, which are all cleansing.
